Notes · The Equilibrium

The tools change every week. The notes are where the roots stay.

Short, practical field notes on building AI systems that outlast the next model release. Memory layers, enforcement, the unglamorous plumbing that makes any of it stick. Issues of The Equilibrium, kept here as permanent pages.

Issue 012026-06-10

The memory layer is the car. The model is the engine.

I stopped rebuilding my AI setup every time a model dropped, and built a memory layer instead. The part that made it stick was not the wiki. It was the enforcement.

Issue 022026-06-12

A warning nobody reads is the same as silence.

My maintenance robot caught a bug my laptop was hiding from me. The lesson that matters: enforcement has to be mechanical or loud, never polite.
